I’m Maciek - chef, artist, and creative spirit. I’ve spent over 12 years in kitchens across Europe, from the madness of Michelin-level attention to details to late nights in buzzing restaurants. I worked myself to the bone, burned out chasing perfection - but that fire shaped the chef, leader, and human I am today.
Stepping back changed it all. I returned to the joy, simplicity, and the beauty of food and nature. For me, it’s never just about what’s on the plate - it’s about people, stories, and the magic that happens when we gather around the table.
Known from Blink Restaurant in Skagen, where I was head chef and one of the creative forces behind the kitchen, awarded Green Kitchen of the Year 2024 by Den Danske Spiseguide and nominated for Seafood Restaurant of the Year 2024.
Previously, I was head baker and head chef at Baghaven Bakery in Skagen, where I developed my love for creative culinary expression, collaborated with local institutions such as Skagen Museum, and explored sustainable, story-driven approaches to food.
Now I cook, teach, and create in a manner that’s real - healthy, expressive, and rooted in real life. I love to spark ideas, motivate people, and help others find their own rhythm and taste.
